Hello @Amarose55, I'm not a parent myself but I just wanted to say hello and welcome you to the community. I'm so sorry to hear that you're having a hard time recently and haven't been able to work, it sounds really exhausting. I hope the community can be a place of support and advice for you.
I'll put your post into our Children Parents and Families section where more parents can find it. You've done nothing wrong by posting here, it just makes it easier for other members to find you and offer their thoughts 😊
If you've not already aware, the National Autistic Society have some branches and centres across the country that might be worth a look. I hope the community will be able to suggest some more things to try too.
What kind of issues are you facing with your young person?

Hi @Amarose55
My name is Doris and I am a family services advisor for Scope.
Welcome to the community. This is a great place to talk to other parents and get advice.
I am also sorry to hear about the struggles you are having. It can be stressful and scary trying to get back into work after you have been off for a while.
Are you still in contact with some of your colleagues? It may be worth chatting to them if you are, for some advice. If it is nursing you want to get back into
might be worth looking at, if you haven't already done so.Are your challenges around finding work or around your young person? If they are around your young person, what are you struggling with?
Doris
