I would give them a ring to make sure personally. As for acknowledging they received it, some get texts some don’t. Not sure why but I would definitely ring to make sure.

It does seem that for MRs acknowledgement via text is more patchy than the original application acknowledgement.

Did you send the MR by any form of recorded post at all just incase the DWP ask? I would ring up and see if it has been received.

Even though it has been a month, if it has been lost you can send in an MR just explaining the reason for the delay. They can accept the reason, and carry out the MR, or they can reject the reason, refusing to do an MR, and you can then go straight to tribunal.

I sent it by 1st classed signed for but not recorded delivery, would it still be the same? I still have the receipt.

If you have the receipt that is good. While I don't know why they would say you are lying about sending the letter so they could reject your MR, you at least have evidence against that.

I would call them up, if they have received it then it may be a matter of just waiting a few more weeks. If they for some reason haven't then a new one may need to be sent, explaining why this one is over a month late. You did send one in but it was somehow not properly processed.

Just a quick update. I had a letter this morning regarding my MR, 18 weeks after sending. Good news, they granted me Standard daily living and Enhanced mobility. I am confused though so I am hoping you guys could help me out here. Everywhere I've looked, it says that the Standard living rate is £72.65. I have been granted £68.10. And says that the Enhanced mobility rate is £75.75 but I have been granted £71.00. I know that its only a couple of pounds, but does this sound right? Or should I query it? Many thanks, Chris.

They've used the 2023/2024 rates in your award letter. Because your claim started in March 2024 and the amount went up in April 2024.

Same with my claim, I'm definitely getting the correct, up to date rate in my 4 weekly payment.

    Congratulations on your successful MR!

Thanks kimmy. Hopefully will get the correct rate when I receive my 1st payment. And thanks, it was stressing me out, put my claim in, in March so its been dragging on.

The payment will be correct, I edited my previous post to include a little more information.
