Help with purchasing a bed
Hi, does anyone know of any charities that could help with the cost of a new bed? I have spondylitis, damaged root nerve and a badly healed spine fracture so my pelvis is not completely in line with my spine. I can't get a double profiling bed provided by the LA as they are single and my wife and I don't wish to sleep apart. Plus, the company my wife has worked for for 20 years closed their office after COVID so our small spare room became her work from home office. I trialled a bed that is double and each half works independently to rise you up or lay you down, it was fantastic, but it's too expensive for us to afford. I e been told that if I look around I may be able too apply for a 'one off grant' but I've been unable to find anything. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. We are only in our 50's and don't have a desire or the space to sleep in different rooms. Thanks in advance. Phil
