Hi I've just received a text saying that a health professional is looking at my claim how long after this do you hear back

There are no timescales. It’s likely to be much longer if it’s a review of an existing claim, rather than a new claim.

Thankyou it's a new claim

Hi @Kelly74, first of all welcome to the community 😃 So you've submitted your PIP application and they've forwarded onto one of the assessors. There are no exact timescales and each region of the UK can have a separate assessor contract.
For me I got a text saying an appointment in two weeks time was booked 8 days after I received the text you just got.
