Green Paper
Am I right in thinking that the green paper will only go ahead if the Conservatives get back in power? I'm confused - not to mention concerned that I may lose my flat that I've rented for 20 years!

The chances of the Tories getting back in are very slim.

No one knows the answer to that.
We will find out after Thursday.

I can only hope and pray that the Conservatives don't get back in .I used to vote for them but Sunak is demonising all the disabled and people on benefits .
If Conservatives do get in but I think its rare YES they would try to make the GREEN PAPER LAW .I will vote Labour but I wish they would say how they would keep PIP .A lot of disabled people depend on the PIP CASH to pay many bills including MOTABILITY . In my own opinion the SCOTTISH GOVERNMENT has treated the DISABLED people a lot better converting them to ADP same as PIP

The benefits bill is too high, I expect there will be some changes to pip.
Its being abused at the moment, my next door neighbour works as a manager at jaguar land rover and earns 72k a year and he gets pip and his wife is a nurse together they earn over 100k a year.
Im sorry but if you earn that much money you shouldn't need pip, he uses the pip money to pay for his football season ticket.

PIP is not means tested, PIP is meant to help disabled people with the extra costs of their disability regardless of their wealth. There are other benefits to help those who are less well off. PIP is specifically related to disability and nothing else. Even though he earns a lot, he is disabled and that comes with extra costs. He is as deserving as any other disabled person to receive PIP.
Other benefits are intended to fix income inequality, we should try to not associate PIP with that!
