Walk a mile in my shoes - virtual reality simulation

This should perhaps be part of induction for all DWP employees. It would be a doddle for VR to simulate sensory impairment, inability to stand or walk, inability to process information or explain yourself, so many things. For my part, I am not naturally patient. I resolved to be a little being of sweetness and light for my telephone PIP assessment. At the very end I frayed a bit and when she asked me what difference not being able to stand upright made I said, "You try it!"

People question each others issues all the time I think
My issues are questioned all the time by people who have never experienced what it's like
Even on here people with different disabilities have told me I'm fine
I've probably done the same to others, although I must say I try my hardest not to
That said it's a bit different when a DWP person doesn't understand, because it's kind of their job to understand
