    You can still report the earnings it will not override them, if at a later date earnings do come through from HMRC then this will override what you have reported. It will not double the earnings.
    Thank you
    I have got this response from them, what should I do?

    I'm not convinced that advice you have been given is true. I've known many times for someone to report earnings because their employer had failed to report them and then the following month UC have taken into consideration 2 lots of earnings. If this happens then you would need to raise and RTI dispute.

    The other issue your partner may now have if you don't report the earnings is they may have work commitments expected of them by a work coach due to zero earnings, unless he either claims carers element or has been found to have LCW/LCWRA.

    @poppy123456

    Today I had a meeting for my commitment review and I was told that I will have to look for work and spend 30 hours every week doing so. I accepted these commitments on uc.

    My partner also had a same meeting and he also had to agree to similar commitments as they thought he is unemployed. He was also told to submit his earnings by self reporting or they would block our payment. After doing this both our commitments change again stating that we do not have to look for work anymore.

    So do I need to look for work as stated in the previous commitments or do I follow the new commitments? They both happened today.. any advice?

    Yes, I thought not reporting the earnings would cause an issue with your commitments. If your commitments have now changed then the new ones is what you refer to, not the old ones.
