Won appeal now what?
Hi so I'm just wondering if anyone can help that's gone through an appeal lately and won.
I won my appeal against UC on the 28th of June and I'm just wondering if anyone knows or has experienced receiving back pay and how long it could be before I receive it. I've received the letter to say I've won the appeal on Thursday the 4th of July through the post but it gave no indicators for payments or back pay etc.
AlAlso any idea on how long it could be before I start receiving the new payments?
HoneHonestly at this stage any information would be greatly appreciated.

It can take up to about 8 weeks after a Tribunal decision for the award to be put into payment and to receive any money that's owed.

Just wondering if you would know what way it should work with the pack payments.
Basically I started putting in fitness march 2023 then they awarded me LCW on the 30th November and I put in for a mandatory reconsideration straight away . They claimed that their decision was correct so I then asked to appeal this again.
And have now won that on the 28th July so what I'm wondering really is will they back date me from 3 assessment periods of the original fitnote or will they only back date it from the original LCW decision in November?
Thank you for you response

The waiting period will be from the date you provided your first fit note in 2023. Providing you continued to send fit notes without gaps until the original decision was made.
