hi I just reicieved a letter in my journal saying I have been awarded LCWRA.
I have sick notes dating back from 17th of April. They received my form on the 3rd of may, I had my assessment on the 3rd of July.
So do I get back dated from my first sick note or the last two? And with that being said when will I receive the extra money

My if assessment period is 16th-17th of each month.

If 17th April 2024 was the date you provided your first fit note and there were no gaps until a decision was made then your waiting period will be as follows.

April/May, May/June, June/July… LCWRA starts from AP 17th July to 16th August and first payment will be 23rd August. You are not owed any LCWRA element. This is because the extra money isn't paid at all during the waiting period.

If you or a partner were receiving earnings since you provided your first fit note and you didn't previously have the work allowance then you will be owed some money from that.
