My PIP timeline
I know some people find these helpful:
2 April: Telephone call to claim
19 April: Telephone call to chase form & request deadline extension.
22 April: Form arrived
10 May: Form returned (filled in with help from local welfare rights)
22nd May: DWP text message acknowledging receipt of form.
23rd May: PIP assessment services general text message
18 June: paper based assessment, few questions on phone, told recommend Enhanced review in 3-5 years
Text from DWP saying assessment report received.
3rd July: DWP text, awarded PIP.
8 July: PIP arrears paid into account.
9 July: Letter confirming Enhanced x2 until 2030.
I'm shocked I didn't have a full assessment, and that I've ended up with a fairly long award and Enhanced for both. My medical evidence was brief and more confirmation of my issues.
I & local welfare rights scored me at Standard for both, and I might have accepted an award of just Standard Daily Living if that was the outcome.
Needless to say I'm really happy and the money is definitely going to improve my life.

Congrats again @Kimmy87 and thanks for sharing the timeline! That's very different to my reassessment, which took close to 18 months. 😆
Make sure you treat yourself to a little something when the money is paid in, you deserve it.0 -
Thanks Kimmy that's very useful.
