It's rained non stop for nine hours here.

That's awful @Teigr 😖. They are telling us the words " Jet Stream " . I have become to detests that phrase .

Hope better weather comes to you soon @Teigr . Fingers crossed 🤞.

It's raining in my area now . Fine earlier but raining now.

Forget global warming, we're heading for the next ice age via the windy, wet route.

Supposed to be better weather tomorrow.

It says 22 degrees where I am for the rest of the week. I'll believe it when I see it!

This is the thing isn't it @Rachel_Scope , one thing is said by the forecasters and it doesn't always occur.

I think the forecasters just make up the weather @Strawberry1. They just take a look out the window and decide what it'll be for the day 😁
Hopefully we do get a bit more sun at some point. I'm alright with the more gentle temperatures, though! Not a big fan of extreme heat.

Great statement @Rosie_Scope .

I managed one afternoon in the garden on my time off. Then the weather turned rainy. But on the plus side, i didnt have to use the hose. 😁

@Albus_Scope , you always bring a smile to someone's face 😄.

Hah, I do try @Strawberry1 though it's often people smiling at my buffonery. 😆

It's 30c in here again today. Wish I could swap weather with those of you that prefer the heat! 😄

Think I just live further south than many on here!😄 The way my flat is built is part of the problem as well, upstairs and south facing so it doesn't take much sun on the window or roof at any time of day to heat it.
I tried an air con unit but couldn't vent it as the flat is too small. Do have a fan but it's not very efficient (just seems to move hot around) and I can't stand the noise so don't use it much. I have to keep the curtains closed for much of the day, and open windows later in the evening to try and cool the room before bed at least.

@OverlyAnxious have you tried one of those fans you can put ice into? I can't remember what they're called…and I have one! They're really good. The front comes open and there's a tray in where you can put cold water or ice. Works as a humidifier too. The one I have, creates different colours too, to help you settle down at night. Not noisy on the first setting but it still cools you right down.
