I see that the In the recent King's Speech, delivered by King Charles III, several significant bills were outlined especially the notorious:

The Data Protection and Digital Information Bill, which was stalled in the previous Parliament, was indeed included in the speech, indicating its reintroduction and prioritization in the new legislative session (POLITICO) (Politics Home) (The Spectator).

The only thing that was said was.. Action will be taken to get people back in employment following the impact of the pandemic. Which doesn't necessarily mean disabled people. You can see the full speech here.

The consultation period for the government's green paper on proposed PIP reforms closes on Monday, 22 July. Given the expected volume of responses, it will likely take at least a couple of months for the government to thoroughly review and document all the feedback.

Therefore, I do not anticipate any updates or details on the potential PIP reforms until late autumn, after they have reviewed the feedback in detail. There is a possibility that, following the feedback, Labour might discard the current proposals and suggest their own reforms. In the meantime, we just need to be patient until the process is complete.
