PIp reform?
" Final Money Off Coupon, Time Running Out To Challenge PIP Vouchers".
I copied paste from Benefits and work subscription's site this title. Could someone kindly let me know if the new government is going to approve that PIP benefit will become at a point vouchers?
I'm sorry if I sound overwhelmed, the truth is that I am as a matter of fact, as we are all struggling to survive in England, prices of goods and services are going up unfortunately.
Thank you to all that can kindly reply my concern,
Vanesa.

The consultation period for the green paper on PIP reforms ends on Monday, 22 July. Following this, they will start reviewing all the feedback received this process is likely to span several months, which leaves the final outcome uncertain.
Vanesa, while Labour has not explicitly stated its position on the PIP reforms outlined in the green paper, it is probable that they would prefer to pursue their own reforms for PIP once the review is completed.

Hi @Vanepipi, sorry that you're feeling overwhelmed, it's not an easy time at the moment! As others have said, we don't quite know what the new government will do following the consultation. There's currently nothing to suggest that they will be following through with the voucher ideas, but it's difficult to say what they have planned yet as there hasn't been much information.
We'll have to all keep our eyes peeled for any new information over the next few months and go from there. And of course, Scope will be here campaigning and supporting people through whatever happens 😊

A voucher or receipt based system would prove unworkable / impracticable - an administrative nightmare for the DWP. A direct payment system will likely stay but with much stricter eligibility / conditionality.
We should all try to keep calm and carry on for now - easier said than done I know.
