Backdating child disability/carers element

hi there everyone just wondering if anyone can help…

I recently updated my UC in May 2024 as I was told I was entitled to child disability element and carers element from when my son received it in feb 2020. 
my payments have updated accordingly and my request to backdate the money was sent to a decision maker. It’s now been over 2 months since and all I’ve heard is the same thing… I rang them and was told my account was overdue and I would receive a callback.. I never did so I added a message on my journal to be told, all backdated payments are overdue and there is no call back! And basically just wait??? I’m just wondering if anyone can shed any light and what I can do or had similar situation.. she’s told me it date order but I know a few people (locally and on forums) that have already received decision and payment

I'm afraid I don't know a huge amount about child disability, but hopefully someone will be a long with some support for you soon. I just wanted to pop in and say hi. Hopefully they wont keep you waiting too much longer.
