I think I decided to do volunteering too soon
I thought I was ready to start volunteering, but after my first and only day at my local British Heart Foundation Furniture shop I have realised that I'm not actually ready to do volunteering yet .
My head is all over the place at the moment as I'm still waiting for the outcome of my LCW reassessment as I haven't heard anything from them yet.
It's my late dad's birthday next month and then its my nanna's angelversary on the 10th of September and it would've been my late stepdad's birthday on the 13th of September. My eldest niece's birthday is on the 21st of September, my youngest niece's on the 26th of September and my daughter's birthday is on the 29th of September.
Normally I'd be worried about not having a shower before bed or forgetting to take my washing downstairs and putting it in the washing machine, but I just haven't given it a second thought to be honest.
Other more important things have been on my mind a lot recently like my mental health doing an impression of a yo-yo and my other health conditions making me worry about other things that are too personal to put on here.

Don't beat yourself up for not being ready yet, the main thing is you went out there and tried. You should be proud of yourself for even giving it a go, its a big step. Look after yourself and when you feel ready again you can try again, but don't be hard on yourself sometimes things take time. Take care.

Sounds like you've got a lot going on @BrianMcFaddenfan24. As others have said, it's a big deal that you went ahead and tried, so be really proud of yourself for doing that! And it's also brilliant that you've recognised that it may be too much for you at the moment. That's really hard to do sometimes, so well done for that too.
You can always go back to it in the future when things feel a bit easier, I'm sure they were pleased to have you helping even just once 😊 Take care of yourself, hope you're feeling more settled soon.
