Thanks @Teddybear123
I was expecting the emphysema result as I was a smoker for over 50 years but I wasn't expecting the rest, i have an appointment with my GP on Tuesday who will explain the results and what to expect next.

Hey @noman, I'm sorry you've got all this on your mind now. I don't know if this helps sorry, but if it was me I think I'd rather know so at least myself and my doctors are aware and hopefully can see what can be done to help! Trying to find a silver lining there. It sounds like you really needed this CT scan.
Best of luck with the GP appointment on Tuesday, do let us know how it goes (if you want to of course) π€

It was a shock because it came out of the blue really and I wasn't expecting all the issues that was found through the scan, if the doctor hadn't suspected emphysema for my breathlessness I probably wouldn't have had the scan so would never have known about these issues.
What will be will be now but I will have a better understanding after I have seen my GP on Tuesday.
Thanks @Jimm_Scope & @Sandy_123

Its not good to get results sometimes but then at least you know and hopefully the GP will be able to offer a plan going forward.

I really hope having the opportunity to sit and talk over your results with your GP on Tuesday will help. Receiving a letter with results can be very upsetting and shocking. As others have said, talking with your GP will help put in place a plan moving forward and you'll be able to ask all the questions you want answers to come Tuesday. It's a positive thing that this was picked up initially. All the best for Tuesday.

Had a chat with the doc and was told nothing to worry about π there is some inflammation of the airways and the nodule could be some scarring ( I do have copd anyway ) I will have another scan in 3 months to check on the nodule.
Appointment in September with urology for the kidney stones but again nothing to worry about because I don't have any pain when peeing.
Happy daysπ
