UC Fraud Check?
I have been asked to provide 4 months bank statements and proof of identity to Universal Credit. Is this something that happens or am I being investigated personally? I have provided the required documents as I have nothing to hide.

Thanks @TheManFromLondon I can assure you that my savings have not gone above £6K. I have already sent all the required documents off so hopefully it will be sorted soon.

It’s just a random check that your claim is correct. They are reviewing thousands of people.

yeah nothing to worry about I recently had to supply bank statements because of savings but once that was done they actually had to pay me £73 extra a month 🤣

Lots of people on here (including myself) have gone through these checks.
There are several topics about experiences if you look for them.
Last time I looked DWP were reviewing 2 million claims, which is a big percentage of the total number of UC claims.

UPDATE: FYI - I received my telephone follow-up appointment today. They asked about any other bank accounts, ISA's shares etc. that I had. The only one I have is a Paypal account so they have asked for statements from Paypal for the same four months and a screenshot of the balance on my Paypal account. The only thing they might query is a regular gift of £94 a month I get from my cousin in the USA. Hopefully all will be sorted soon!

Message in my journal today. Fraud check is over and nothing will change. That is UC fraud check and ADP review both completed on the same day. Happy days!
