Hi,

I've noticed today that there is already talk in the press that Labour have already decided to replace PIP with the vouchers etc and that the WCA from 2025 has been decided on too and that we will lose our LCWRA payments. There is some link to ' Save my Taxes' which has been saying this for sometime.

It's very scary for us all and it should be stopped.

I've mentioned or rather tried not to mention SMT elsewhere. They strike as about as reliable as the group of schoolkids standing next to you at the bus-stop.

If this is a site the initials of which are SMT, they;re based in India, so IPSO can't touch them. They routiinely spill out wicked drivel I have told them so. They have taken it upon themselves to misinform the world (presumably targeting ex-pat Indians) about the benefits systems of the English-speaking countries

It's disgusting!!! They don't realise how many people are overwhelmed with anxiety about this.

It's sad that nothing can be done about it.

There should be an advertising campaign, 12 FACTS ABOUT BENEFITS, that kind of thing. Could maybe get the Left wing press to put it on their sites for free or at least reduced. Posters in the windows of Scope shops.

It's all about playing on emotions, and one of the easiest emotions to manipulate is fear.

If you are reading something and it's making you scared or fearful, you should consider why it might be trying to do that. What purpose does it serve? Is it truthful, as in are there any actual facts being provided, or is it just "guessing" or "predicting".

Fear is a horrible emotion which unfortunately runs through this forum with some people terrified of being identified But Scope also strikes me as a little timorous - low-profile, is that a more tactful way of putting it. Scope was apparently founded in 1952. Between 1986 and 2017 I worked in medicine, including involved with patient education in specialties with numerous disabled patients. Never once did I hear of Scope.

I had always been aware of SCOPE but I didn't get involved in the community until recently.
