Hi, my name is Sullylinzy203! Will I have to wait three months for LCWRA payment?
hi please could somebody help me understand this. So I had a letter saying I’ve been awarded LCWRA from 17 April 2024 but says I won’t receive any extra payments till my 3rd asssement period I’m really confused does this mean I won’t get the extra payments for another 3 months and how can they further asses me when they’ve told me not to hand in anymore fit notes as I’ve already been declared unfit to work

Hi @Sullylinzy203, welcome to the community 😊
Unfortunately, there is usually a three month wait until you receive your first LCWRA payment, so that's what they're trying to explain on your journal. You'll receive your payment on the fourth month after the wait. The assessment period just means the time they take to calculate your Universal Credit payment each month, so you won't need to do anything more to be assessed. You can find out the date of your assessment periods on your statements. I hope that makes sense, but please let me know if it doesn't!

What date exactly did you provide your first fit note?
What date do you usually receive your money each month?
They are not assessing you further it’s just a waiting period that applies before the extra money is paid. It’s not paid at all during the waiting period.
