Welcome to our new look online community!
Today we're excited to share the updated design of our online community! We've made things a bit neater and more sustainable for everyone.
There might be a few bumps along the way, so if you spot any issues, please let us know here. A screenshot or detailed information of what the issue is or what went wrong would be super helpful!
Have a look at our new user guides to get comfy with the changes:

First thing I spotted and I'm rather disappointed is that when you quote a comment, you can't quote part of it. I was very much hoping that this would revert back to how it used to be but sadly not. It's frustrating and makes advising more difficult.
Another thing I've also just tried out is when you post a link. What used to happen is that it would be highlighted once pasted in the comment box.
Now for the last couple of days that hasn't been the case and you have to press "enter" on your keyboard for it to be highlighted. Some members will not think of doing that and I've already had to advise a couple of members.
I have noticed that the issue I had with viewing longer threads on my iPhone has now been corrected so that's a good thing.
As for everything else, it will take some getting used to.

Thank you for the immediate feedback @poppy123456 I see what you mean about the links, does it work for you if you press space as well as enter after pasting the link? Just want to make sure your experience is the same as mine.

Pressing either 'Enter' or space gets a link appearing correctly after copying & pasting into the text box for me using a desktop computer.
Groans about not being able to just use part of a comment if quoting too & wish the 'preview' button was back!

It's a bit messy to be honest. Posts are too close together, everything starts merging into one. Needs more spacing between posts. Actually started making my eyes hurt after a while and I have perfect eyesight!!

Ive also noticed that when using my iPhone that when I’m viewing a thread and I click back, it doesn’t refresh so it looks like I haven’t read that thread. Very annoying.
I agree with others too about the brightness, everything is very white. On my MacBook, when looking at the envelope and notifications bell, it’s very yellow and that really hurts my eyes and difficult to see. I can’t imagine what that’s like for those that are partially sighted.
@Jimm_scope using iPhone now and copying and pasting is showing as normal. Tagging doesn’t work well either, I’ve just noticed.0 -
@poppy123456 the issue of tagging not always working, especially if you have to delete and retype the tag, is also quite frustrating for us as well. That has been a bit of an issue for a little bit as well. We're getting these issues together to see what we can do.
We really appreciate all the feedback, thank you!

I'm struggling to give a reaction to a post…..I've tried on 3 different posts. Each time when clicking 'like' it jumps to the top of the page, & with a dozen attempts on these 3 posts I've only managed to 'like' one!
I probably can't see for looking, but I can't see the 'hamburger' menu using a desktop computer.
On the whole I really like the look of this platform, & think links to using the community will prove very helpful to new members, so that's a very welcome addition.

@chiarieds using iPhone I can react to a comment. Not sure whether I can on my MacBook.
Another thing when using my phone when I click on a thread it doesn’t take me to the last comment I read, instead it takes me straight to the top of that page so I have to scroll down.

As someone else has said. Clicking like just takes you to the top of page.

Good because I wrote on this thread but it didn't post. I may try again later.

Hello Community Scope. Mmm. I do like the new colours when signing in!
I also participated in a preview. I'm a little disappointed that discussions listings have been changed and assume not many others objected to the new lay out?
1 It was easier to read a list of discussion TITLES on a single page.
2 It was easier for each page to be numbered with actual numbers.
3 Your introduction on the Home page is difficult to read over the white background
Apart from that it's Scopetastic 😄

I don't like the new look first of all I can't read white writing on a dark/black background and second of all the writing is smaller which is harder for people with visual impairment and lastly why did we change the name of the games discussion and that decision was made by the people on the co-production group.
very disappointing to say the least2 -
woodbine, that is a really sad post to read 😥
If Scope were to restore the version we know and love…?

@durhamjaide2001 - have you looked at the 'Accessibility' features (under 'Settings' in Windows, for example) where you can increase the text size which should help? Sorry if you've already done this.
Perhaps Admin could mention a member looking at their system's 'Accessibility' features if they have any visual impairment.

It's weird. You post a comment but it disappears.
So this one appeared and I'm waiting on the one before this…
Because life's not complicated enough! Goodnight

@Teddybear123 - I wonder if you're looking at the 'Reactions' under your profile? I've just had a look, & if you go across them as if you were trying to highlight a piece of text you can see the number of the reactions you've received. A bit odd that they're not otherwise visible (as far as I can tell), but hopefully not a big problem for members.
