PIP reassessment, what is their aim?

I've got a pip assessment soon, I've been getting pip for 2 years, my condition as diagnosed, can't change and I'm a bit nervous as to what their aim is in reassessing me. Also I'm an older mum trying to still be a fun mum within the scope of my challenges 😁

Usually assessments are needed if they don't have enough of information to write the report without an assessment. The most important part of any PIP claim is the form you fill in. The more relevant information you give the less chance you have of needing an assessment.

They will ask you questions about your health condition and how they affect you. Make sure you give as much information as possible and try to avoid answering with just a yes or no.

The assessment can last anywhere from 20 to 120 minutes. Once the report is written and returned to DWP a decision can take up to 12 weeks.
