Hi, my name is gazmaskell! Ex refuses to change daughters claim to my name. What can I do?
Am trying to get a claim changed over to my as my daughter has moved in with me but her mother won't tell dla, I have rang them but there not bothered there paying her for not having my daughter, she has now had 3 payments

That sounds like a difficult situation, I'm so sorry you're having to go through it. is the claim in your ex's name, or your daughters name?I'd maybe suggest mentioning to ex that she is currently committing benefit fraud, which is a serious offense.

i had the same problem years and years ago i was told the person who has there name on the child benefit and dla forms gets it until they tell them otherwise not sure if its changed

The money from the DLA is supposed to be used in the best interests of the child. If this is happening then you need to report that.

It has been reported more than once they even rang her not sure what she told them but there is still no money for my daughter
