Hi, my name is molly6672! UC review rejecting my bank statements, what can I do?
Hi universal credit review is under way, but they keep rejecting my bank statements.
First one I downloaded from my online banking as a CSV then converted to jpeg, they said was incorrect.
Then I printed off my statements and scanned them, again rejected.
They have now the start and end balance is not shown in the statements even they can see the balance at the start of of April and now.
Thanks ian

Hi @molly6672, welcome to the community.
Sorry to hear you're having trouble submitting your bank statements. Could you perhaps request paper statements from your bank and forward those on? I'd understand if that wasn't an option, it's not always possible.
I'll put your post into our Universal Credit section where I hope some of our members might be able to share their experiences and let you know what worked for them. Fingers crossed you can get it all sorted soon!

Not all PDFs are equal! I had a similar problem where HB said they couldn't read some of my statements created from the Download facility on the bank's site. I seem to recall these were called Microsoft Edge PDFs, Mr Gates…I had to resave them as proper Adobe PDFs. I had the software,
This is where it gets a bit complicated. Adobe Acrobat is £13.14 a month but if you cancel within 14 days you get a full refund and you will not need a month to save all the bank statements UC could possibly desire.

Hi cantilip
Yes I have Adobe acrobat, the bank statements are really high quality.
They are saying they need to see a start and end balance, what I don't understand is they can see that already the first page of the statement and the last page.
Ive looked online and can't see that anyone else has had this problem.
Thanks ian
