PIP appeal
My wife is disabled after radio & chemotherapy due to cancer treatment along with other disabilities shes had since birth which have progressively got worse over the last couple of years. We have had to fight with PIP over the last 2 years and prior to a tribunal hearing at the end of last year they awarded the lower allowances. However recently she submitted new evidence including written medical evidence to say her pain and disabilities are worse and provided new medical evidence (from scans of her knees) and informed them that she can't walk more than 4 or 5 steps in one go due to the pain. In spite of this PIP after a telephone review decided she could walk between 20 and 50 metres. What would be the best way to appeal this decision since it contradicts what they were both told in writing and over the phone ?
