UC review
Hi
I've just received a note on my journal saying I'm being reviewed and have to send 4 months backdated bank statements and photo ID.
What should I expect from this and do they check what money is being spent where & when?
My anxiety is through the roof with worry, can't eat, sleep or anything!
Please help!!

Hi,
This has happened to a lot of members recently. It's just a standard check.
They're mainly checking that you don't have any more savings than declared. They may also be suspicious of large or unusual payments and ask you to confirm what they were for. They shouldn't be asking you to justify every penny spent though. I've read several threads on here about these checks and haven't seen a negative outcome from them so far. Although they are stressful for the claimant, of course.
