Hi, my name is alig1! I’ve been advised to go for ill health retirement. Any advice welcome.
Hi all. I’m very worried.
I have been a nurse for 26 years. O have poor health with long term health implications. I’ve been advised to go for ill health retirement.
it would look like £300 on tier 1 and maybe £600 on tier two. Ignore understood it well.
I am a mum to 4, 2 under 18 and 2 over 18. My partner is self employed.
I’m very worried that I’ll be stuck not being able to survive on this.
Plus having to provide yearly pay slips forever if I ever manage to get back to any type of employment. I’m not sure I fully understand all the rules of nhs retirement and the implications of this.
I'm trying to get back to work on phased return. OH have written they don’t think I’ll mamage. I feel this will work against me.
I'm absolutely devastated and very frightened. Any advice welcome.
I receive PIP currently.

Hey there @alig1 and welcome to the community.
I'm sorry to hear about your situation, I understand how much it'll be playing on your mind.
I'm afraid I dont know a huge amount about ill health retirement. Though I'm sure some of the community do. Have you spoken to anyone from ACAS as they're very good with employment law?0
