in PIP, DLA, ADP and AA

Hi I'm Sophie I'm new on here and new to this whole situation to be honest,

I got a text on Monday morning from the DWP to say I'd been awarded pip, I've seen on some other posts people mentioned back payments ( to when the claim started) I was just wondering what the time frame on that would be ?

    If you didn't transfer from DLA and you had the difficulties for at least 3 months when you rang to start your claim then it's paid from that date.

    Money owed usually takes between 3-5 working days to go into your bank from the date it's paid. You can ring PIP anytime to ask what you've been awarded and ask when to expect the money into your bank and they will tell you.

    Money is usually in the bank before you receive the decision letter.
