Hi, my name is M1KEY1958!
Hi, just inquiring I get pip but only attendance allowance £95 was looking at buying a car hybrid ready for future and seen as there’s no way we can get a car so would have to add money from pension.
Is there a car company garage that does cars for pensioners I retire in October not asking for charity as I’m willing to pay my way.
Advice from people .

PIP and Attendance Allowance are 2 completely different benefits. There’s no rate of PIP or AA thats £95.
I’m not aware of any reduced vehicles for those claiming pensions.
For the motability scheme you would need Enhanced mobility PIP.

Hi @M1KEY1958, welcome to our community 😊 I am not sure of any specific organisations that offer cheaper cars for pensioners. When Poppy brings up the motability scheme, that is an organisation specifically for people with Enhanced Mobility PIP to aid them in getting a car with adjustments.
I can look to see if there are any charitable organisations that could provide grants or help towards a possible car for pensions on Attendance Allowance!

attendance allowance was £60.10 then it went up, then I did review and they give me £95 a week and still on low one, it helps but my pudendal nerve pain is getting worse, due to have knees done soon if it kills pain in knees will help, all this my depression off charts. got to see a shrink soon as suffer with depersonalised disorder and last fit lasted 34mins but this not down on pip yet as I wasn’t under investigation.

I use my pip money towards help with ailments but thinking of getting better car as the one we have is old was thinking on leasing a car, just asking if there’s any garage that would do this! Thanks for your advice.

I'm still confused by your comments. You mentioned claiming AA and then mention what your PIP payments goes towards.
Low rate AA is now £72.65/week… high rate is £108.55/week. There's no mobility to AA. As there's no mobility part to AA then you will not be able to join the Motability scheme.
There's options to lease a vehicle but when it's possible will depend on your financial situation and your credit history because it would be paid as monthly payments.
There's some information here on PCP (Personal Contract Purchase) You will need a deposit for this and also monthly payment depending on what car you choose. At the end of the agreement you have a choice to either pay the lump sum and that car is then yours or you return it back to them.

There's also more information here.

I'm not aware of any grants available for those claiming Attendance Allowance to be able to buy a car.
The only grants possible are through Motability to help with things like adaptions and advance payments on the vehicles but as you're claiming AA then you will not be able to access this.
Are you claiming all the benefits you're entitled to? I'd advise you to use a benefits calculator to check.
