PIP review complete - questions
Dear Scope,
I received a text message saying my PIP review is complete. I am hoping to have been awarded enhanced on both due to strong medical evidence.
Should I be awarded a higher rate on both, will I receive back pay from the date I did the review which was around October last year?

Usually when it's a review started by DWP if the award is higher then they do not backdate the claim to an earlier date and then extra money is paid from when the decision is made.
However, due to the waiting times for decisions for reviews sometimes they will award from an earlier date and will owe some money but this doesn't always happen. Some are owed some money and some are not, it's entirely up to the decision maker.
You can also ring to ask what the decision is, even though the text advises you not to ring.

Thanks for updating me, poppy. I just thought maybe it would be backdated but it’s fine.
