Payments down after moving to Universal Credit

I have recently been moved to Universal Credit. Before being moved to UC I was getting

PIP £549.00 (every 4 weeks)

Disability working tax credits £482.79 (every 4 weeks)

Housing benefit £40.18 (weekly)

= £1,192.51

I am now getting a Universal Credit payment of £735.57 (monthly)

A loss of £456.94

Actually, it's more than £456.94 loss as previous benefits were every 4 weeks and UC is monthly.

How can this be?

Who can I go to seek advice about this?

How did you work out that your UC is less than your Tax credits? My calculation says your UC is more than Tax credits and housing benefit combined.

    Tax credits £482.79 (4 weekly) = £523.02 p/m

    Housing benefit £40.18 p/w =  £174.11 p/m

    Total before migrating £697.13 p/m

    UC £735.57 p/m

    PIP is separate. £549

Edit to add, I can see what you've done to get that figure of £1,192.51 and you've added your PIP payment to that.

For your UC figure you haven't included your PIP payment so it makes it look like you're receiving less money, when you're not.

PIP isn't part of UC and continues to be paid as normal so you add that onto your income.

Have you reported your health condition and provided a fit note for UC?

Thank you for your reply. I didn't know PIP is not part of UC. I haven't received a PIP payment for August and assumed my PIP got moved to UC payments.

No problem. PIP has never been part of UC. UC is means tested and PIP isn't. When was your last PIP payment? Count 4 weeks after that and that will be your next payment.
