Tribunal Hearing Booked after 10 months of waiting .
I Have just checked and see my Tribunal Hearing has now been booked. After 10 months, I do not know the date yet just got to wait for the letter ? How much notice do they give you normally .
My condition has deteriorated in the 10 months I have been waiting for the hearing . I am now on antidepressants and also waiting to see a neurologist.

You should get at least a couple of weeks notice. Please be aware that they will not take into consideration any worsening of condition since the original assessment took place. They will only look at how your conditions were at the time of that assessment.

You're welcome. Yes, you will receive a letter. Are you either appearing in person or having a telephone/video hearing?

I Have requested to appear in person as personally I think that is better. Hopefully the letter will come by the middle of next week.

Telephone and video hearings have the same success rate as in person, it's about 70%.

I didn't realise that...thank you . I am just going to go and state my case.

Just received letter and the hearing date Tuesday 17th September .
They are asking for any further evidence to be sent at least 7 days before the hearing date. Is there anything anyone can recommend I should send ? I am seeing the orthopedic surgeon on the 4th September .
Thank you 😊

It will depend on what you’ve already sent. Less is often more and sending multiple pieces of evidence all saying the same thing isn’t helpful. Remember is must be relevant to how your conditions were at the time the original assessment took place.
I’d advise you to go through the bundle to check what’s already been sent.
Other than that it’s difficult to advise as I don’t know anything about your case.
