hi all
I have read this article 3 times but can’t work out if it’s good or bad, I would appreciate if someone could tell me please

Decipher that?
Blah di blah. Just words to stay relevant and in the news.
But I think she means since we (Labour) helped the Tories in 2015 to pass those damaging new laws, we should stop blaming them for ruining people's lives. We should stop talking about it now we're in government.

I'm going to take a bit more of a neutral take and say that it's at least a welcome change of rhetoric. We have for years heard government officials blame people on benefits and call them scroungers. Which at least is now no longer being done.
They've said elsewhere that the reforms they want to see are integrating the NHS into the benefits system more. How exactly that will work though we aren't too sure, hopefully there will be a consultation period where voices can be heard 🙂

Does this mean the media will be held accountable because of their scaremongering and demonising of disabled people?

the forum just lost/deleted a long post I spent ages typing when trying to put some of it under the spoiler option (thought save draft was on auto save) - don’t have the energy or time to re type right now

Hi @apple85 I'm sorry your post was lost. It should be saved automatically to your drafts like you mentioned so I'm not sure what's happened there. I'll let the team know about the issue to see if there's anything we can do.
