Hi, my name is louharriet!
hi I’m in need of a little advice..
I was awarded limited and work related activities on the 17th July 2024. I had my 1st payment of the new amount on my payday that is even end of the month. I have my letters sent of to apply for this on the 28th November 2023.. would this mean I’m due a back payment? I have rote twice in my journal to see if I’m due anything but nothing has been submitted back to me.
thanks x

More information is needed for me to be able to advise you. Assuming this was your first work capability assessment and you didn't previously have LCW.
1/ What date exactly did you provide your first fit note?
2/ What date do you usually receive your money each month?
3/ Did you continue to provide fit notes without any gaps until the decision was made on your work capability assessment?

hi I didn’t provide any fit notes as wasn’t ask to, I get paid each enough of the month last day. I was sent out the lwcb forms to fill in back in November and had my assessment call just over a month ago

You are supposed to provide fit notes without any gaps. Not providing those fit notes can affect when the extra money is paid from. It will be down to a decision maker to make the final decision on when it's paid from.
As no fit notes were provided they may start the waiting period from when the decision was made.
