Hi, my name is Ahnners!
Good rising, I hope all all is well. My job role is remote, I find the admin is quite overwhelming. My neurodivergence conditions are dyslexia, dyscalculia and borderline autism. I love the job, but when I get under it, I am easily distracted to do something else, like sweeping or washing up and I notice this too. My manager is aware of my symptoms, hence I asked her to check in with me weekly. Do i need a support worker?

Hi @Ahnners
A warm welcome to the community. It does sound as though you find it difficult to keep on task.
I think having support is entirely up to how you feel that you are coping. You can always ask for a needs assessment which if the first step to getting support. If the local authority feel you don't need a support worker, then you may have to hire one privately.
I hope this helps

Thank you, Doris, I decided to step away from the laptop for the day, to give the brain a break. But yes this sounds good. I work with NHS, I have to dig deeper to see if I can get that support, if not private.
