your pip won’t stop until the review is done

so although it’s a long time they do have backlogs but won’t stop your money whilst review being done.

Yup, backlogs are huge for PIP reviews. I also returned my form end of November 2023. Received a text in December to say they'd received it. Then a text in March, May and again today saying they still have my review form and will be progressing it as soon as they can, all texts said the same thing. Those texts mean they haven't yet sent my file to the health assessment providers.
My award was extended for up to 1 year in June. Nothing more anyone can do but wait.

Hi @Lizzi1989. It's very frustrating that the backlogs are so long. As others have said, at least your current award continues while you wait. Fingers crossed that the months will fly by and your review comes through without any hitches. Welcome to the community by the way!
