Powerchair laptop bag??

I've recently started using a powerchair and I'm loving the freedom it's given me.

I'm looking for a bag to go on the back to hold my laptop and headphones etc plus my lunch and a few other bits (my sticks for underneath the chair)

But I'm struggling to find a bag that fits. There are lots with handles to go over wheelchairs that have handles but my chair just has a bar at the top of the back rest.

I found a backpack on Amazon which looked ideal as it had loops with velcro which I hoped to clip onto the bar but the loops aren't long enough!

Any ideas? Thanks

That's a tricky one. Could you perhaps adapt a bag for it? I'm not sure if a satchel-style messenger bag would be big enough for all your bits and pieces, but perhaps popping a loop of velcro around the top handle to attach it to the bar might work?

You could also look into bags that are more designed for walking frames or rollators, they might have more flexible attachments that could work around the design of your chair.

Hopefully some of our members might be able to suggest something better than that though! I'll keep thinking! Fingers crossed you can find something.

    Hi @trickyjacket

I'm nothing to do with this company, just a happy owner of their Trabasack Mini, which goes on the back of my powerchair, carries allsorts & is a great little picnic table.

Thank you so much. I'll let you know how I get on.

Hello @trickyjacket, you're welcome & yes, let us know. Sorry I didn't notice it was out of stock though. The one you've chosen looks good, so, pleased that you found something suitable on there anyway. It is a good site, with many decent & useful items.
