No. The report is just a recommendation. You have to wait for the decision maker to make the final decision.

You can add up the number of points on the report to work out whether you would get standard or enhanced rates. Daily living and mobility points are counted separately. 8 points or above for standard. 12 points or above for enhanced.

It can recommend a review time even if there's no points recommended. You can use the PIP self test to add up any potential recommended points. Just transfer the dots/ticks from the report into the self test.

That would be a recommendation of no daily living and Enhanced mobility. You will of course need to wait for that decision, once it's made if you disagree you can challenge it by requesting the Mandatory Reconsideration.

    Hey @vikki_42,

Welcome to the community 😊 I hope you're doing alright, the assessment process can be quite stressful.

Do you think you didn't gain some points in categories you should have? Let us know and perhaps why, it could help with writing a Mandatory Reconsideration (MR). As Poppy mentioned, you can put in a Mandatory Reconsideration once you've received the actual decision. We do have an advice page on MRs here: Appealing a benefits decision | Disability charity Scope UK

Let us know if you've any questions about any of this 🙂

The decision can take a few weeks sometimes @vikki_42, you'll likely be sent a text and a letter when a decision has been made. If it's followed the report all good, if it's deviated from the report then remember you've got the appeals processes I linked in my earlier post 🙂
