Migratiin Evidence for HB
Universal Credit migration
Trying to get prepared for this, as I have read I am in the group that will get a migration letter anytime from Sept 2024 to Dec 2025, but I don’t understand UC?
I get IR ESA SG and have lived in my Housing Association property for 27 years and get full HB.
Do you have to provide your tenancy agreement for evidence for HB, as I can’t find it anywhere?
Could I provide my annual Rent and Service charge letter as evidence instead?

As you're living in social housing, you will not need to provide proof of liability to pay rent because they will contact your landlord directly. You will just need to give your landlords details when filling out the claim form.

Oh, I was looking forward to seeing the answer to this one as well. 😄
I rent privately but my property has been sold while I've been here. So the only tenancy agreement I have states a very old rent amount and a different landlord. Can't see how that's of any use to UC. I'm hoping they'll accept a rent increase letter which contains the current rent amount and the current landlord name & address.

That proof should be accepted. If they want anything else then give them the original tenancy agreement.
