UC dropped to zero
Panicking. I am my son"s DWP appointee. Applied so he could have his own UC claim. He got his first UC payment. but my UC has now dropped from 600 a month to zero ! We have transitional.protection. I have put a note in the journal but no reply received. I now only have Carer's allowance of £81.90 a week. Husband is employed full time and his income pays all the household bills. I still need to care for our son and this is ridiculous. I have £60 a week left after buying my bus pass.

Do you have any other children on your UC claim? If you don't and either yourself or your husband haven't been through the work capability assessment and been found to have Limited capability for work then you won't have the work allowance.
Without the work allowance any earnings your husband receives each month will reduce your UC by 55%.
