Payment sent to closed bank account
I Wonder is anyone can help me.
My Bank account with wise has been closed down. I have changed my account details with UC. But too late as they have sent my payment to my closed account. Leaving me with no payment. I believe the payment will bounce back to UC..
Does anyone know how long this will take? , it's been 3 days now.

As I advised on the other thread where you asked this question, there's no timescales.

Sadly, it would take a lot longer than three days.
It might take your old bank up to a month to return the money back to UC, it then will take time for UC to repay that money to you.
You might want to put a note on your journal to say this, if you have not already and ask them to claw the money back as fast as they can.
You could ask for a budgeting loan or whatever it is called now, but by the time you get that you might have been paid your original money.
You should also contact your old bank to chase up the money.
Hopefully, you have family to help you in the mean time, if not then you will have to try the food banks and talk to your energy suppliers and your other bills so that you do not fall behind.
I would also cancel any direct debits that you have, so an energy bill if it bounces from a direct debit your bank might charge you, and the energy company might try again so another failed direct debit.
Sorry to give you bad news, but you are playing a waiting game now.
