Hi, my name is lasenky! PIP inconsistencies
hi I had the same issue of inconsistency I received a phone call last week and was told in detail what my award was for both living and mobility payments and how much I was owed,I called 6 days later to ask when I should expect it as I was told within 5 days I will receive my back pay only to be told that the system says I haven’t been awarded and the letter posted said I haven’t been awarded I suffer with severe bpd(borderline personality disorder) so this caused me to have a major episode I called back 10 mins later to be told there’s inconveniences on the system and they would investigate it, within the next hour I received a call from the same person who called last week and told me I had been awarded she called to assure me I had been awarded and the system had a “hissy fit” and didn’t put my claim through I now have to wait another 5 days due to “inconsistencies” the same issue happened when I applied the system didn’t put my claim through for assessment I called 3 months later to be told nothing had been done with it this seems to be a very common thing with pip systems

Welcome to the community @lasenky, I'm really sorry to read that this happened to you, it can't have been easy to deal with it all.
If you feel like you'd want to make a complaint about how you were treated there's some information about how to do that here:
Complaints procedure - Department for Work and Pensions - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
I hope your payments are all sorted out now. Sorry you're having to wait again, but fingers crossed it all goes through ok over the next few days. Keep us posted with how you get on!
