Hi, my name is jaybear67! Do I need to change boroughs?
I'm homeless in Hammersmith and Fulham and have been since may2023. I'm 57 with a life illness my Borough has been absolutely no help. They say there are no properties in Hammersmith and Fulham including studios , and offer me places in in the middle of housing Estates which no access to transport or shops, I go few times a week to Chelsea and Westminster hospital and a clinic in Hammersmith, all my family live in Hammersmith and Fulham or Kensington and Chelsea Boroughs. So my support unit is there. I found untold studios in Hammersmith and Fulham within housing allowance budget yet when I sent them to my housing officer I was ignored, no reply to messages or texts or emails. Even from my doctors they dint reply. I need to be housed, so thinking I need to change boroughs

Hi @jaybear67, welcome to the community. That sounds like a really frustrating situation to be in.
Have you thought about contacting your MP? They might be able to advise you on other things that you could try:
Contact your MP - UK Parliament
I'll put your post into our housing section where more members with similar experiences can find it. Hopefully they'll be able to share some more advice and ideas 😊
Have you got somewhere safe to stay at the moment?
