Disability facility grant

Once disability facility grant is granted for my 20 years old daughter can i apply mean tested benifit (unvirsal credit) while work is in progress..

Hi @Wellspring,

A disabled facilities grant shouldn't affect any other benefits you're claiming. You should be fine applying for universal credit while the work is in progress if you meet the other eligibility criteria 😊

Wellspring

It was granted under children grant as i am receiving child benefit for her.. But was wondering the grant has not been paid out, will it be an issue if i apply unvirsal credit.

Hi @Wellspring. Here's some information about the Disabled Facilities Grants. It doesn't mention anywhere that it would affect any means-tested benefits but it's not an area I'm very familiar with so I wouldn't want to say for sure. I'd suggest asking an adviser when you apply for UC.
