That's great news! It can take up to 8 weeks, sometimes longer for your award to be put into payment and receive money that's owed to you.
When it's paid from exactly will depend on what date exactly you provided your first fit note.
You must also have continued to provide fit notes without any gaps up until the original decision was made.
Without knowing that information your first payment is potentially Oct or Nov 2022. Money owed will be paid separately to your usual monthly money.

Congratulations @celyn! I think Poppy has answered your question far better than I could manage, so I'm just here to give you a congrats 😁
Is there something you might get to give yourself a little treat for going through all this?

Thankyou @poppy123456 and @Jimm_Scope relieved that it’s finally over with I was a mess by the time I had to go it was not a nice experience for someone with high levels of anxiety I can’t imagine how those worse than me with anxiety get through it I was awarded on my mobility issues and finally I feel like someone actually listened ! Thankyou fir the info re guarding the back payments I wasn’t aware it would go right back to the fit notes which started in June 22 I have no gaps and continued to get them even after they would no longer accept them I thought they paid 3 months after I was assessed which as u can see took a year in itself
Re my treat it’s going to sound daft but I have not been able to go out without assistance due to three large steps and no wheels so I’m going to get a mobility scooter to see if I can go to my mums which is two streets away! We can go together and sit in the park which will be great to be able to do it ! My two older children want me to book to go to the Cotswolds they will come with me probably for free lol as I’ve always wanted to go - what a process it’s been tho I’m glad to be the other side of it Thankyou both

I don't think that sounds daft at all! In fact that sounds just wonderful. It seems like it'll really give you some freedom. I hope you have a lovely time in the park with your mum and with your older children in the Cotswolds ❤️
