Umm, the uncompletable feedback survey....

Assuming things which are actually irrelevant to me, making it a thingummy, wotsit, self-fulfilling prophesy - only some people will be able to complete it

Q1 Why did you join the community

My answer: Curiosity

Q2. What topic area most closely matches what you came to the community for help about?

But I‘ve just said I didn’t come for help

Did you find a solution to the problem you came to the community about?

I might have if I'd come with a problem..

Actually that's an interesting point. My impression is very much that people's finance questions are solved by the incredibly wonderful Poppy. Other questions don't always get answered, inevitably because the range of problems a disabled person might have is so huge and answering everything would mean an advisor here on every single aspect or members with every single problem. In other words if people's questions aren't answered, that's the nature of the forum.

Back to the survey…

Have you used other sources of information, advice and support as well as Scope's online community?

If you said yes to the previous question, how would you rate Scope vs the other sources you've used?

This pair of questions assumes the only information, advice and support you could have looked for is that Scope provides, which is plain bizarre, from what your council has to say about social care to articles in medical journals: there are hundreds of different sources of information. I guess what it means is information on benefits.

At the end you're really concerned about my state of mind. That's terribly kind of you and I can certainly see that if people are in a bad way that's something you need to know but I'm not sure the way it's put is directly relevant to the forum, for instance instead of asking 'do you feel isolated' you might have asked 'does being part of the community help you feel less isolated', 'does being to express yourself make you feel more empowered', 'do you feel better after finding out that other people share your views'. that sort of thing.

Hey @Cantilip, I want to first thank you for giving your feedback. We really do appreciate all the feedback we get about the community, and we actually really appreciate the feedback about the survey itself. This particular survey is one that we've been meaning to update for sometime but we (and the team who help us with surveys) have yet to get around to it.

I'm certainly going to be bringing up everything you've said here when we do start working on it.
