added medication
Hi,I have been on LCWRA for a while, and while on been on various reqular medication,my MH nurse spoke with my doctor as I am not eating very much, for a while now,so its medication to increase my appetite and also will help me sleep better.
I was just wondering do I need to add this information on my journal at all?
Thankyou for your advice.

You put as a change of circumstances as I've had to do that myself

You need to be very careful when reports changes, especially when you already have LCWRA as @Charlie5 does. Changes should only be reported if your health conditions have improved to the point where you think you would no longer qualify for LCWRA.
If you still qualify, there's no changes to report because you can't have a higher award than this.

I have reported loads of my new medications like when I was put on my diabetes medication in August 2022 and my blood pressure medication last February. I'm waiting for the outcome of my LCW reassessment, but it's going to take a while as the DWP (or whoever deals with the LCW/LCWRA assessments) are only focusing on new claims at the moment, so iteams there's a backlog of reassessments. I only know this as my work coach told me today as I'd mentioned it to her and she told me that there's a backlog because of this.

You have LCW so that's different. However, you still need to use caution when reporting things like medication changes because that's not a change of circumstances that you need to report.
In this case with the member, they already have LCWRA so extreme caution needs to be used when reporting changes. Unless conditions have improved as I advised in my other comment, you shouldn't be reporting changes.

Thankyou Poppy for your advice,

If they're not sure then they could ask somewhere like their local citizen's advice

I'm 100% positive my advice is correct. I wouldn't advise anyone to ask for advice from citizens advice, sorry but ive heard of far too many people receiving incorrect advice from those.
