I recently had a pip assessment and they did a paper based assessment. I provided a lot of evidence. Can I use the evidence for ESA even if it say PiP on it or do I need a new lot of evidence to send with my ESA form. Thank you for you answers.

Heya @sashtom79 you can send in all the evidence you used for PIP, that's not a problem at all.

Hi again! I have been a in patient since Jan 12th for schizoaffective disorder. I sent a change of circumstances which was just a letter enclosed with my psychiatrist letter saying I can’t work and my social worker and care co ordinator letter 4 months ago. I have heard nothing back is this because I’m a in patient? I’m being discharged next month what will happen? Thanks Sasha

Hey @sashtom79, is this change of circumstances about ESA just to check? Did you inform them when you asked for the forms/applied that you are in hospital?

Being an in-hospital patient will often mean they might automatically grant Low Capability for Work. Do they know you're in hospital when you applied 4 months ago?

hi yes I told esa about my change of circumstances that I have schizoaffective affective disorder as I had bi polar before. I haven’t filled in any forms and they haven’t sent me any form to fill in, I told them I am a inpatient four months ago.

There will be no changes to your ESA because you're already in the Support Group and this is the highest award you can have. Same applies to LCWRA for Universal Credit.
