Limited capability
Hi all, I know this is asked all the time. I got accepted for limited capability to work on the 9th April 2024 and my AP is 29th April to 28th May. I received my first payment today and was wondering if I would be due any backdated money. I have asked on my journal but they can't tell me.
Thanks

What date exactly did you provide you first fit note?
Did you continue to provide fit notes for the whole time without any gaps until a decision was made on the WCA?

Your waiting period will be April/May, May/June, June/July.. LCWRA starts from 29th July to 28th August and first payment 4th September. You are not owed any LCWRA element.
This is because there's a full 3 month assessment period waiting time and the extra money is paid from the 4th month after you provided your first fit note with first payment being the end of that month. It's not paid at all during the waiting period.
That was a very quick decision 3 days after your first fit note.
