Compliance phone interview question
Hi everyone! New here! I've been reading the forum for a while but thought it's time to dip my toes in lol
Just wondering if anyone is lose had something similar happen…
Had the dreaded UC mitigation letter almost six weeks ago and filled it all out - tbh it wasn't too bad but I suffer hugely with anxiety so scenarios with everything run through my head even with the simplest of things I can lose sleep and be up all night worrying.
Anyway cut ten days ago and a UC compliance phone interview was arranged (qué the last 10 days feeling physically sick and anxious as we still hadn't had our first UC payment at that stage and I thought maybe we had filled paper work wrong).
Had the call today and they originally wanted bank statements which I said was fine and I'd go in to get what they needed with my husband but turn 2 mins later came back and said no need I'm happy to close the case. Does that now mean it's the end of the matter?
The worrier in me is worried it isn't and I'm half expecting a second letter or something (anxiety just doesn't give me a break). I've nothing to hide but I just over think every little thing about what it's and everything.
Sorry for the long post and thankful for any replies

Hi @Teacups, welcome! It does sound like they're happy and have closed things off, but it's difficult to know for certain.
Do you have access to your Universal Credit journal? If so, you could always pop a question on there to see if anyone can clear things up for you 😊
