Support request
Dear all
I'm new to this platform but seeking some knowledge on the following
I completed my ESA review assessment and report has stated I'm now in lwcra group
I have noticed to say I'm in support group and qualify for a work allowance
I'm on universal credit housing element and then a £100 to balance out my ESA payment
If I look at a work taster for 16 hours at basic rate
Do I pay tax on earnings
And do I still get the same support payment as with lcwra
I'm scared to take full jump into work element as may not work out and can't afford to loose benefits etc
Any suggestions would be fantastic

As you're claiming ESA @gaypride you'd need to ensure any work you do meets the permitted work rules
you'd likely be earning too little to pay tax but I can't say for sure.
You're still get LCWRA on UC and have a work allowance as you have LCWRA (work allowance is the amount you can earn before they made deductions to your UC because of your wages).
